Uploaded video files via FTP disappear

Community Beginner ,

Hi

I have just signed up to contribute video files but having a problem...

I successfully connect via FTP and try uploading a few video files (.mov files) to the root of where it logs in. The upload appears to be successful but then the file disappears when refreshing. On the Adobe Contributer web page the files do not appear in the "Uploaded Files" section.

From advice in someone else's post on this forum, I tried creating a folder called my Adobe ID and also a folder called my FTP username and then uploading to that directory but the same thing happens - the file uploads in full and then disappears.

Am I doing something wrong?

I can see on the backend that 11 .mov files were uploaded successfully. Can you see them in the Uploaded Files tab in the contributor portal? If still no success, feel free to reach out to the support team via the Contact Us option at the bottom of the contributor portal.

Hi Thomas,

I suspect that the video you are uploading is not matching our requirements and therefore is failing.

Hope that helps!
