Uploaded Video - QUALITY ISSUES

Hi All

Time for a rant!

I have just had two videos declined on the grounds of 'one or more technical issues, such as unintentional shaking, empty black or white frame, compression and/or audio issues'

Now, let me explain why I am annoyed. Firstly, they are both drone videos via my DJI MINI 4 Pro. There is no shaking as the gimbal does an excellent job. There are no empty black or white frames present, it was filmed in HLG/HDR in 4K UHD and there is no audio. I have had this checked by a TV editor friend of mine and she states that she doesnt understand why it has been rejected.

I am now going to do what I have done before.... that is, resubmit it and wait for it to be approved which has happened more than once.

On a final point, a six week turn around on looking at the work I have submitted - that's rediculous!

Thank you for listening. My blood pressure is going down now that I have got that off my chest.

Duncan

The text you get is stock text and is not exactly targeted to you asset. There are many other quality issues that may or may not trigger a refusal. When you upload an unmodified, but refused asset again, chances are that you get a different moderator and that moderator  may let pass your asset. That is an inconsistancy, that is due to the human factor. However, if you do that often, you could be banned for spamming.

Depending on your friend's expertise for stock, she may or may not know what to look for stock video. We see that a lot with photography. Stock is different from standard footage.

As for the turnaround, Adobe surly moderates the same amount of videos than before, but contributors are sending in more assets to be checked, because of the increased submissions of generative AI assets. We have seen that in all queues as soon as generative AI was alloed.

If ranting is what it takes to keep your blood pressure in check, go head and do it 🙂  However, I've found the best strategy with these types of situations over which we have no control is to be patient. All assets will get reviewed when they reach the head of the head of the queue.

I would appreciate more information pointing at the issue. I really don't understand most of the rejections I recieve. Fully support this frustration.
