Uploading new video

I am trying to upload my first video. I am getting an error message "Day.mov couldn't be uploaded because it is not a valid file type." It is a 36.51 MB, H264,1920x1080p,12000 kbit/s, 25.00/Frames/sec video file and I don't understand what the problem is. Can someone please help? Thank you.

Videos can only be uploaded via ftp. It sounds like you might be attempting to upload directly through the portal which would result in the error message you described.

Your ftp credentials can be found by clicking the link under the blue upload circle.
