Dear Adobe Community,
I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding a recent issue I have encountered while using Adobe Express, specifically relating to the use of assets from a contributor whose account has now been deactivated by Adobe Stock.
Approximately 2 to 3 days after downloading and utilizing these assets in my designs, I attempted to revise my work, only to find that I could no longer access the downloaded files due to the contributor's account being banned. This unexpected action has not only hindered my workflow but has also resulted in significant losses for both myself and the affected contributor.
In my efforts to seek assistance, I have reached out to Adobe support through various channels, including multiple chat agents and emails, yet I have received no responses or resolutions to date. This lack of communication is concerning and raises questions about the fairness of the policies in place that affect the user experience and the livelihood of individual contributors.
I urge Adobe to review this matter with the seriousness it deserves. The implications of such actions impact not just the contributors but also loyal users who depend on a seamless workflow within your platforms. The fairness and transparency expected from Adobe must be upheld to ensure that both contributors and users are protected from significant disruptions and unfair treatment.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I hope for a swift and equitable resolution.
Sincerely,
Victor Coro
You already have your answer. Find replacement assets to use in your project.
Clearly, the offending Contributor did something egregious enough to warrant removal of their assets & termination of their account. That's a serious RED FLAG that their content isn't fit for commercial use. As a customer, I don't want anything to do with suspicious assets, and neither should you.
You've been advised that the assets are no longer available for use. Heed that warning and kill those
...Hi Victor,
I want to clarify the situation regarding the recent issue we’ve encountered. While I understand how disruptive this situation has been for you, especially with your inability to access the assets you downloaded, I must express my disappointment in your actions. Specifically, using my assets excessively has directly led to Adobe Stock deactivating my account.
As you may not be aware, the primary reason my account was blocked was due to Adobe suspecting an attempt to artificially inflate

Sorry to hear that you, as a customer are having this trouble. Unfortunately, your posts will not reach Adobe. We are a group of contributors helpinbg fellow contributors.
Please understand, that when a contributors account is deactivated or closed, there has been a breach of the Terms of Agreement. These terms are in place to protect the customer, the contributor, property and yes Adobe.

Yes, it's really unfair if the contributor has to be blocked just because he uses too many assets in Adobe Express, it's a pity. and interferes with my adobestock decisions

It's disappointing when a rogue Contributor violates the Stock TERMS of service. Fortunately, it doesn't happen too often.
Good luck.

My work with some of my clients has already dealt with that asset image, this is really very annoying

Welcome to the wonderful world of 3rd party graphics. You're at the mercy of your suppliers. Sometimes they pan out, sometimes they don't. Always license 2 or 3 alternative assets as fallbacks. You never know when you'll need them.

That's not a solution for me, you're defending Adobe, are you getting paid??

Hi Victor,
I want to clarify the situation regarding the recent issue we’ve encountered. While I understand how disruptive this situation has been for you, especially with your inability to access the assets you downloaded, I must express my disappointment in your actions. Specifically, using my assets excessively has directly led to Adobe Stock deactivating my account.
As you may not be aware, the primary reason my account was blocked was due to Adobe suspecting an attempt to artificially inflate sales of my assets. After investigation, it was revealed that the excessive use of my assets was linked to your activities, Victor. Because of this, I now find myself in a position where I have no backup for these images, which has put me in a difficult situation.
Here is the message I received from Adobe regarding the deactivation of my account:
Account blocked: Suspicious activity
Hello,
We are writing to let you know that your Adobe Stock contributor account has been deactivated for suspicious activity. For more information on why your account may have been blocked see the Submission Guidelines.
Regards,
Adobe Contributor Relations
I am currently in the process of submitting an appeal to have my account reinstated, and I sincerely hope Adobe reviews the situation fairly. I would also suggest that you submit an appeal on your end if you feel this situation was not your fault.
However, I must be honest in saying that I am extremely disappointed in how this has unfolded. This could have been avoided had there been better communication between us from the start. I understand your frustration, but this situation has significantly impacted my work as well, and I hope you realize that it’s not just one-sided.
Moving forward, I expect a more responsible approach to using assets and a clear understanding that we are both working within the bounds of Adobe’s guidelines. It’s important to remember that actions like these can have serious consequences, not just for us as contributors, but for the integrity of the platform as a whole.
I hope we can resolve this issue swiftly and in a way that ensures neither of us faces further repercussions.
Regards,
Dimas
