Cannot give tax advice but it seems that a,b,c are options - you do not have to tick if it does not apply.

Hi @tobiase83538147

Are you filing taxes as an individual or a corporation?

I ask because the form you have now is for corporations.  Ask your local tax consultant or accountant for advice on how to complete your form W8-BEN-E.  We cannot give you advice on this.

https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-8

Non-US individuals should submit W8-BEN.  Read this:

For example if you live in Germany, your treaty agreement with the United States says you pay 0% withholding.  The Treaty Article is 12(1).  If you live in a country without a US treaty agreement, you pay 30% withholding.

Hope that helps.

@Nancy OShea ,

FYI: a GmbH is a limited liability company in German-speaking countries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gesellschaft_mit_beschr%C3%A4nkter_Haftung.
