What could be the problem with this image? For what reason could it be rejected?

An image of a Firework that was rejected.

Files with such fireworks are sent in batches of 30-50 images for moderation. All of them are of relatively similar quality and content (the difference is in colors and shapes). But one batch is accepted almost completely, and another batch is rejected completely for some reason, although there is no difference in quality between the batches. Probably, different moderators evaluate the images with different strictness.

What problems can a strict moderator have in such an image? Translucent smoke (fuzzy edges)?

How can I improve such images, what do you recommend to improve on it? What should be avoided?

Thanks!

You said "Rejected for "Low quality", batches are almost never rejected for "Too similar to previously published content"."

Moderators can only select one rejection reason, therefore it's possible that assets had both issues.

Some of these images appear to be quite soft and unfocused.

What was the reason given for rejection? If you're uploading upwards between 60 and 100 assets depicting fireworks of "similar colors and shapes," you might be submitting too many similar images. But I can't say for sure without seeing the other assets.

Here are more pictures from the rejected batch. They are all different shapes like this (of course, many of them are heart-shaped for Valentine's Day, but they are still different) and slightly different colors.

Rejected for "Low quality", batches are almost never rejected for "Too similar to previously published content".

Maybe it's something else in the pictures themselves?

IMO, they look less like fireworks and more like dahlias (flowers).

In any case, you should compare your work with current Stock inventory.  Are you bringing anything new to the table?

Are you bringing anything new to the table?

By @Nancy OShea

Yes, because the sales are significantly high.

I can't give details and examples of all the fireworks images, but a certain type of them sells unusually often, which is why I create these images. Otherwise, I wouldn't make them. Moreover, fireworks are harder to make than other types of content, so I wouldn't do it anyway if it weren't for the significant sales. And I don't think I should make tens of thousands of other (but extremely unique) images in the hopes of making next to nothing in absolute zero niches (where there are no buyers) - such images will most likely join the list of 559 million images on Adobe Stock that have never been sold.

And in your example, you are simply searching for too broad a query. Add to this query the settings "Transparent background", "Illustration" and the number of images available to the buyer drops to 31 thousand. If you add some more keywords (for example, "heart shape"), then the sample will drop to a couple of hundred, and sometimes even dozens of RELEVANT options.

Search for the query "nature", there are 186 million images, but people continue to publish pictures under this category and they are not prohibited from doing so, right?

In addition, it is not entirely logical to ask this question to contributors as private entrepreneurs. There is a relatively free market, and images are published for this market. If there is significant demand on the market, then it will be covered with content. The fact that the market may be "oversaturated" from your point of view does not mean that the contributor does not have the right to continue to make content better and more diverse and publish it. Each contributor finds his own selling niche and provides it with his content.

Moreover, most often where there is no competition (in absolute niches), there are no clients and no income. You are hardly making "high quality pink plumbuses" for an unknown infinitesimal number of "clients from Madagascar", are you?

Also, Adobe Stock states in its rules that you should publish "unique" content that will bring income to Adobe Stock due to high sales (which will find its buyer). I fulfill this condition by publishing my images in those niches where they are actively sold. I still make my content more unique and recognizable in a certain category of a WELL-SELLING GENERAL niche. And probably many contributors do this, including you.

So, thanks for the answer about them being too similar to flowers, I will think about the problem to eliminate too much similarity to flowers, although in some sense this was the idea.

However, of course, I will always be glad to hear which market niche brings in more sales in your opinion and at the same time lacks content - I will be happy to make it.
