I don`t think you can do anything to make it better. Picture is too "soapy" for stock. Made by phone camera I think. Bad composition, read or watch some video about making good composition. And always try to figure out why someone will buy your picture. What is so good in it comparing to others similar?

I don't agree.
Compared to what we normally see, this image has potential.

The white balance is off, the photo is not sharp, slightly under exposed, has artifacts and the structure is not straight.

Hi @Deleted User ,
Nice sharp photo at 100%. The white balance is off. It's too cool and a little underexposed. The highlights is a bit too high the shadows a bit too dark and it's noisy. Correct those issues with your photo editor and you should be good.
Best wishes

"highlights is a bit too high the shadows a bit too dark and it's noisy. Correct those issues with your photo editor and you should be good." How? Using noise reduction? That will make the photo more soapy. Not worth to try improve something here by editing program.

This is not a bad rural picture.
With the right skills, this could be corrected in Photoshop wth a layer mask & a few curve adjustments. Use Crop Tool to straighten image. This is just a rough example.

Hi,
it seem that there are not much Details in the Picture. The Edges seem to be a bit "musch", the shadows a bit dark without Details in it and the sky has not much Details in it.

the shadows a bit dark
By @Henrik Heigl
The shadows are quite sparse here. I do not see much of a problem with that.

You stripped the EXIF data, so, I do not know your canera. Best would be to have access to the raw file, and starting the editing process again.
The composition is OK. The one saying bad composition could do a better job by suggesting what should be done. The picture is in focus, but somewhat soft, probably due to noise reduction. Adding contrast would be helpful. If you can recover some of the detail in the wood structure, then it could work.

I don`t think the noise reduction is used here. Rather some older phone camera used or compact camera with small sensor ant too many mpix. Artist may be can make this clear.

As soon as the camera does the processing, there is noise reduction done by the camera. If the asset has been shot in raw, there was nose reduction applied in post.
