Hi turcanlena,

There are many factors that determines an image remaining on top page. First we are referring to a pool of over two million images, and is viewed by billions of people. New or other images may gain popularity for reasons other than just sales, including trend, or promotion, or they are just better sellers, or sold for higher value. Keywording also affects the movement of works,

I hope this has provided you with the answer you are looking for.

Best wishes

JG

There is no limit in sales. It's algorithmic. Others may have better
sales or better more sales per view. Each time you get a view and no
corresponding sale, the picture gets downgraded, as the system assumes
it's less interesting to the buyers. For sure there is also a timing
included, so that newer pictures get an initial boost. And there may be
still other "magic" factors involved.
