Hello,
I have uploaded several AI-generated PNG illustration files created using Adobe Illustrator. While uploading, I selected the “Illustration” category and also enabled the “Generative AI” tag. However, after approval, these files are being placed under the “Photo” category instead of “Illustration.”
All files are vector-based and exported as PNGs with transparent backgrounds. I believe this misclassification may impact their visibility and relevance to potential buyers.
Please look into this issue and let me know how I can ensure that my AI-generated illustrations are correctly categorized as “Illustration.”
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Emon
Will this cause any issues for me in the future?

No, that's okay. It happened to me a few times: AI images uploaded as "illustrations" were then categorized as "photos" after approval by Adobe. And they sell. So, rest assured everything is okay.

If the AI assets are photo-realistic, it's allowed for them to have Photos file type.
