Are landscape photos not wanted anymore?

Hello,

I take mostly landscape pictures from when I go hiking and on various trips.  Or pictures of famous places like the Statue of Liberty, there are "only" a few million of those taken every year.

I do not take a lot of pictures of people, and when I do I do not think about getting a release.

Is Adobe Stock only looking for images of people?  From what I have read, it is looking like that is the trend.

No, I don't think you can say that in general terms. Adobe Stock accepts good and sellable images from all areas of photography, is my experience. But in some areas, such as landscape photography, the available offer in the database is already so large that it is difficult to get accepted or to sell pictures here. Here, especially with well-known motifs such as the Statue of Liberty, you have to supply special and unique material in order to have a chance against the mass of competitors.

That is the problem.  When there are so many pictures of Yellowstone, Mt. Rainier, Arches Nat. Park, Paris, Rome, etc. it is very difficult to have anything original.
