Liebe Community,

Allerdings:

Gelb: Artefakte, grau unscharf.

Lieben Dank also nochmal und liebe Grüße! Connie

Hallo Connie,

Gruß, Connie

Hello,

I would like to make a further opinion. I think in the first photo, the blurred blue flower in the background is distracting. It takes your eye away from the foreground. The picture is a little unbalanced.

Wiesenblüten_8551composition1.jpg

The second flower, the stalk divides the picture into two.

Wiesenblüte_8337-2composition.jpgThe thrid picture, not sure about the blurred white bit above the flower.

Focus is not so good, as mentioned,  especially when you enlarged the pictures. More depth of field is needed.

Generally though, they are nice pictures, I think. Perhaps give a bit more room around the flower pictures, so if they need to be cropped to fit in a project they can. At present there is not a lot of room to crop the pictures.

LATEST

Hello Lichtmalerei,

Please find attached some non-technical notes I have made.

Apologies in advance for handwriting on your work, I found it quicker and was with the sole purpose of providing some help beyond the "plain" rejection legend we all might have get once or more in our work. Photos are assumed to be yours. NO plagiarism intentions of any kind at all are pretended from my part. I hope this contribution helps to cover one part of that "big void" of multiple possible rejection reasons.

I am not an Adobe employee nor anybody to convince you about anything, I am just a volunteering dude trying to help people blowing off some steam when their work is rejected.

In other words, trying to provide an "out of the box" perspective. My contribution is with good intentions only and hopefully will produce at least one smile.

For more formal and professional comments listen to the guys that clearly know what they are talking about.

Keep shooting, learning, observing, and specially, having fun!

Cheers,

Vences

PS Beatiful work, I also shot flowers and everything that surrounds them the best I can. However, reading through another rejections in this community, learning from mistakes, and just lately, intentionally submitting not so good material to test what the reviewers "are" or "what" they possibly use to process/review thousands of photos that are submitted everyday. I have theorized so far, that quite likely they use AI (artificial intelligence) of some sort or level, to aid themselves. For example, take a look at this piece of ... work I submitted https://stock.adobe.com/stock-photo/id/365981547 is really bad, I over-saturated it, over-exposed it, and other many things on purpose, and got accepted. What I am trying to say is that, for me, this proves that reviewers effectively make mistakes, for good and for bad. And this could have happened to your work too (well some artifacts could be spotted actually).

Nonetheless, the "real ultimate reviewer" is the buyer, I'd say. He/she would buy or click "next".
