Creative Direction - Illustration?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any blogs or content I can find which gives direction on the types of Illustration customers are looking for? For example what are the images customers are looking for in technology. I presume there are Adobe blogs for contributors? I hope someone can help so I focus my work in the right areas. It’s impossible to say what customers are looking for. Some things are maybe trendy now and not in the spring. Some illustrations (and photos) can be a hit without any clou. Unfortunately there are lots of blogs on photography but almost none on illustrations. You will have to search illustratons on different microstock sites and also search for illustrator tips around the net.
