swiitl...

A few things... viewbug is a different kettle of fish...You can't compare what people say on there to here.
On Adobe Stock, they are looking for well composed images apart from the technical aspects.
Unfortunately, the images you have shown, I'm afraid, lack composition among other things that have already been mentioned, (and not only that but also in the grape photo you have a bright spot in the middle top, which needs to be cloned out).

The most striking thing I would say is the composi

the correct next step is to post the image here Stock Contributor Critique and people can suggest ways to make it better... without the actual image to look at we are just guessing mate

Hi

The grape photo is out of focus at the front of the grape and the hands are dirty but they are both aesthetic choices.

The cat photo is over-exposed at the top left - the sky has completely blown and the roof edges are over-exposed.

There is no of course about it - you can stop down to increase depth of focus or use focus stacking.

Trevor's advice on looking at Behance is excellent. Adobe Stock is all about images that will sell. I can't imagine that second image of two cats with a washing line in front of them selling at all. Even if you crop in close on the cats, and then spent time cloning out the washing line - the white cat fur has gone the same way as the sky - blown to white.

OK, I can see that you have now started a thread, but you didn't answer the question.  Was it Adobe Stock that rejected your pictures?  If yes, and you say you are a newbie, then you are doing extraordinarily well to have 10% of your images accepted.  The two images you have so far shown us are terrible — just awful — and it sounds like you don't have the slightest clue how bad they are.

Go and look through the images on Behance and compare them to your own.  When you can produce work like that, then you'll have the right to complain if Adobe Stock rejects them.

Just my thoughts....

First, don't feel bad about the rejections.   I've submitted around 1500 shots, and had less than 400 approved.   I disagree with a lot of the rejections, but there is no appeal process...we all are getting nothing more than one person's (or machine's) opinion every time we submit a piece here on Adobe, or other stock photo sites.   I do think someone is using the Grain/Noise and Artifacts rejection far too often, and denying quality shots the chance to be sold.

The grape shot...I would have shown a bit more of the fingers, and chosen a better grape, or perhaps have burnished the one you used so it was all shiny and fresh looking.  Might want to consider cleaning the finger nails as well...if you were shooting a grape picker out in the field, dirty nails would be more appropriate.

The cat picture...I would have zoomed in on the main subjects (the cats) and never have included all the other stuff to begin with...I try to do most of my cropping before I push down the shutter button.

On the Adobe Stock forum there are a couple of other ACPs who comment regularly on here, and they are also able to give good advice.

You should read this guide if you are interested in contributing. It's very helpful for a newbie. Also you could follow the Adobe Stock Contributor forum. There are many people who post images asking for advice. You could actually learn quite a lot!
