Hi there, it is a good picture, but...
you have noise, and this can see seen here, viewed at 100% you can see this:
Which is not surprising bearing in mind this was taken at ISO 1600. Perhaps a bit more noise reduction is needed.

What software do you use to work your pictures?
Every software has a noise reduction tool and works quite the same: you have a slider you push to reduce the noise.
You have 2 kinds of noise: luminance and chroma noise. You need to get rid of both. However, noise reduction leads to washout effect if applied excessively. So the art is to add enough to get rid of the noise and not too much, not to eliminate the details in your pictures. Very often, you have auxilliary sliders that help with detail and contrast.

I asked a question too. What is your editing software? If a user here has the same, he can help you to find the correct sliders...

Photoshop CC and Adobe Raw (Filter or while opening the raw file) are quite like Ligthroom...
I hope you shoot raw. You possible tweaks lead to better pictures than shooting JPEG!

If you have Lightroom:
You have these sliders.
Noise Reduction gives you a choice. Luminance which gives the photo a 'grainy appearance, like in the film days ( but mostly in digital it is unwanted - unless for special effect) - this is what you have. And colour noise gives some coloured patches, but I don't see a lot here. Mainly in luminance. The Detail slider helps to preserve detail in the photo, so here it can help preserve detail in the feathers.
This is what you get:
More careful work is needed, but this just gives you a quick idea.
If you apply too much you get this: (100% noise reduction applied.)
It starts to look like a painting.
I suggest you read about this theme.
For these examples, I used Adobe Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop.
There is a help file that you can read about noise reduction.
Sharpening and noise reduction in Adobe Camera Raw
Other photo editing software has similar functions.
