J'ai eu des photos rejetées et quand je fais une recherche sur Adobe stock je vois des centaines de photos du même sujet !!! Comment faire pour discuter des motifs de rejets ???
Moved to Adobe Stock Contributors
We will need the photos in question to reply to your question. JH
Joanh thank you for your interest
Here are 3 rejected photos .
Iam new to this and i want to understand how it works.
what are the reasons for rejection given by Adobe? I guess it was property Violation.
Hi. Since these photos are very nicely done, there must be problems with a property release. These places must be recognizable and there are people in some that might also be recognizable so model release might be necessary. Check compliance requirements for new stock contributors and property violations. Regards, JH
yes, I think the following problems are here with the pictures:
property violation because of advertisements/shop names, falling lines at buildings
property violation because of the advertisement/shop names and the car number plate, falling lines at the buildings
property violation due to identifiable persons
The reason for rejecting these photos is regarding intelectual proprety.
Wath usualy people do with that ? Do they blurr or cut portions of the photos ?
If i understand well, it is not possible to propose a picture with a crowd of people in it.
Wath do you meen by falling line at buildings ??
Thank you verry much for your help.
especially as far as releases are concerned you will find corresponding information here:
In order for the picture to be commercially usable, you must remove or make unrecognisable all recognizable advertising lettering, logos and number plates by means of image editing.
For identifiable persons in the picture you need a model release of all persons. If they are unidentifiable in the background then not.
To put it simply, sloping lines are slanting building edges in the picture. These are not perpendicular to the horizon and are usually caused by using a wide-angle lens from a short distance to the object. This should/can be corrected by image editing. This is not necessary in every shot taken with a wide-angle lens, but in yours I think it is necessary.
Thanks for your time and explanations.
Today i resummited 2 of pictures with modifications done.
If a picture shows peoples from behind but only 4 of them is this ok ?? Im shure there mum can reconnised them , but their face is not visible.
Au plaisir, Gilles
as you can see in the Adobe Contributer guide, it is ok if people in the picture can only be recognized by themselves or their relatives and if no special features (face, tattoos, etc.) are recognizable in the picture, Then a model release is not required.
Greets and good luck,
Hi, thanks for all these good informations.
I now know more about this stock world.
