Hi all!

I see many categories in stock interface, but in contributor interface list of categories is very short. And I'm not found any articles about adding categories in Learn & Support. Did I miss something? How can I set right and precise categories for my works? Is they depends by rank?

Hi Alex

This content was uploaded via Fotolia.

Fotolia offers its contributors more categories as AdobeStock.

Hi, Mario.

Thanks for you participation, but my question was not about category meaning.

For example. Here we see category "Christmas", but there is no such category in contributors list.

Screen Shot 2017-10-24 at 9.18.27.png

How can I upload my christmas theme work with this category?

Why other contributors have extended list of categories? What I have to do to get same list and publish my works with precise categories?

Thank you Mario.

But Adobe Stock and Fotolia the same now, isn't it? Why so huge difference in categories? Is the best way now to upload works via Fotolia? Or these search engines works other way now? For example, tags have more matter and for query "Christmas" tags will be preffer instead category?

Yes.

The reason for this is certainly that most customers are not looking for categories.

Fotolia no longer accepts new contributors.

If you are a Fotolia- and AdobeStock- contributor, you must decide for yourself to which website to upload your content.

It's the same database.

Mario
