not the best start when joning a new site, to discover the staff reviewing images cannot be bothered to even tell you whats wrong with image submissions.  Instead I have to ask the community what they think might be wrong with them....

any suggestions?

Hi @sam5CB1 ,

The composition of your images are good. I have looked at the first 5. With the exception of the second and third photos, they all appear to be similar - another reason for rejection, The first image seem to be the correct color. It seem you added filter to some of the others, and the rest has white balance issue. If you didn't it is clear the colors are not correct.

The first image seem to be underexposed. and the shadow areas too dark. You might also need to make it a bit warmer so that the sunlight can be highlighted.

The highlights of the second image is too much. You need to tone that down a lot.

The third is underexposed and also has a white balance issue - too cool.

The forth and fifth are similar with filters applied. Filters are not accepted.

Please read the guidelines at https://helpx.adobe.com/support/stock-contributor.html

Best wishes

thanks ever so much for your input and time:)  yeah most of these issues are caused by use of filters and added contrast.  I'll get rid of those and keep the white balance neutral for future submissions.

don't feel obliged in any way, but if u get time, do you think the depth of field is acceptable for the 2nd to last image (screenshot016)? (ignoring all the other things wrong with it)

that 2nd link you posted is awesome btw, thanks again:)

Hi @sam5CB1 ,

You are welcome, and thank you.

Too much of screenshot016 is out of focus. It is a bit distracting. You need more depth of field. Also I am unable to say what is the subject.

The depth of field for the fish is also not good, and also that is underexposed.

Best wishes
