Pink Alpine Paint Brush Castilleja rhexifolia 1.jpgRed Alpine Paint Brush Castilleja rhexifolia 1.jpg

The second photo was rejected because it was too similar to the first accepted photo.  These are 2 different varieties of the same wild flower and the colours have not been altered.  Is there something that I should have done differently?

In terms of composition, they both look similar. You should try different compositions/angles. The background in the 2nd picture is also distracting. My eye goes past the flowers and hits the blurred black blob.

Si,ilar is an error in this case, as they simply are not similar. I do not know about the rest of your pictures, but if the second is similar to the first it’s an appreciation error.

But you should know that flowers should be really special pictures, as Adobe has so much of those pictures that quality requirements are really strict. Same with pets.
