Hi,
I have created some illustrations, and set up metadata like keywords and title. However, whenever I upload the file to Adobe Stock directly via the website, the keywords and title aren't there - even though I can see them in Bridge (or indeed on a JPEG version imported to lightroom).
Is there a setting somewhere that converts the keywords to a correct format or something ? I'm saving the files as Ai.
Also, I can't upload the same files to Adobe Stock from Adobe Bridge. Other files upload without issue. I get "Your selection contains assets that cannot be uploaded to Adobe Stock - Assets are in an unsupported format"
Thanks
Rog

I tried that and it still doesn't upload the keywords or title - and it's with all stock agencies, not just Adobe - so I'm having to copy and paste them every time I upload. Most frustrating. I don't have any issue with photos from lightroom...
I'm not an expert in these matters, but the concept of metadata appears to have been born primarily, or initially, to record camera/camera settings data with, and when, an image (read: photograph) file is first written. if that's true

Try PDF with Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities enabled. That way you'll be uploading your .AI file and a metadata-faithful, search-friendly, (closer to) universal format, packaged together. It'll be larger, but you'll get what you want.

Have you asked the Stock Agencies if they even read metadata in PDFs?

I'm not an expert in these matters, but the concept of metadata appears to have been born primarily, or initially, to record camera/camera settings data with, and when, an image (read: photograph) file is first written. if that's true, it's not unreasonable to conclude that stock agencies asset management schemes are geared in this context as well, perhaps failing to recognize (in any programmatic way), Adobe's .AI / .PDF "file info" entries as valid "image metadata."
So taking it a step further (if the above is all true), it would figure that metadata entries for uploaded vector graphics are still an "analog" proposition with respect to existing stock agencies' software conventions.
