2 downloads are very low quality and don't look like the sample image

Hi, I downloaded a bunch of mockup page layouts today and 2 of them by the same author / creator are very poor - they look pixelated and not at crisp like the preview images on the site. how do I resolve? I've tried downloading both jpeg and vector options available and both have issues - the gradients become blocky pixelated chunks.

Obviously I've just opened these to show you in Preview but they look the same in Photoshop too.
