Accidental License - image not download (first time using Adobe Stock)

Community Beginner ,
Feb 16, 2025 Feb 16, 2025

Hi People,

Can anyone please help asap!

I was in looking through Adobe Stock as I currently have a trial subscription with them. Anyhow, I was looking through some images and pressed the 'License' button thinking an explanation box would open and not that the actual art icon would then be licensed (without even knowing the price or term of license??).

How do I remove this please as I have not downloaded this image.

Regards

B

I don't think you can unlicense, or get a replacement credit, for a free image that you obtained on a free trial subscription.

That's why the trial is there: to try things out. The licence button does what it says: licence an item. There is no "unlicence" button.

Each asset is exactly one plan credit, given you are licensing a standard licence and not a video or a prime image, or an extended licence, which cost many credits (the number of credits is dependant on your plan). You will get asked a confirmation, if the asset costs more than one credit.

I hope this answers your questions. If not, feel free to update your

it would be great if there is no fee due to  still being within the trial subscription period.

The trial (10 images per month, or even 40 images per month) does not cost you a dime, as long as you cancel before the end of the trial. Any standard licence is one credit, videos are more credits. The number of credits for a video is plan dependant.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hey Kglad,

Thank you for moving my post to the correct community section. Having had a quick look, it appears to be a common issue for new users like myself.

Regards

Hey Jill_C,

As there is no explanation by the image, I wouldn't be able to confirm however, it would be great if there is no fee due to  still being within the trial subscription period.
