Adobe Stock License Download Duplicates

Community Beginner ,
Nov 21, 2023 Nov 21, 2023

I'm having an issue when I select an image from Adobe Stock, click "License", the image is downloaded to my Adobe Library in the "Not Grouped" section 2 or more times.  Then I receive an error that I cannot download anymore because the folder is full.

Is there a setting I can change to only download the item once?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

That looks to me like a bug. May be @EvilBug1 has an idea?

Hi @Audre23621442dvz3 ,

Could you please share us the entire flow that leads you to this?

It will help us check what can cause the issue.

Thanks

Sure thing!  I open Adobe Creative Cloud in a Chrome web browser, and sign in.  I select Adobe Stock from the left navigation bar menu.  On Adobe Stock webpage, I select "Free" from the top menu.  In the Adobe Stock search bar I type in the specific topic and hit "enter" on my keyboard.  I scroll through the filtered graphics.  For graphics that I want to use, I click the blue "License" button.  Once the button changes to a check mark/Licensed I go to my already opened Illustrator window.  I use the "Classic Essential" workspace, so the Libraries is already available.  I go to my Libraries tab, select my Downloads option.  I scroll down to the "Not Grouped" section and there are 2 or more of the newly licensed files showing.  I then select all but 1 and delete (drag to the trash can).  Then I move (drag & drop) the left over file to the appropriate personalized group folder.

Let me know if you need any other details.

Hi @Audre23621442dvz3 ,

This will be really helpful, thanks a lot.

Could you please try the same flow, but with Illustrator application closed?

Thanks again

Thank you Bibilelo.  This time I made sure that I had all adobe software closed when selecting a graphic from the Adobe CC Stock web page.  Once completed, I launched Illustrator and confirmed there were duplicates of the selected items in my library of download files.
