Editorial use only can be used in an editorial context. That context may well be also an e-learning set-up. As I do not know the exact use of the asset, I cannot confirm that for your specific use, the asset is appropriate. Editorial use is, when you use an asset in a news article (like a classroom to illustrate an article/blog about schools) or similar. You can't claim editorial use, if you are doing an advert with the same asset for selling school items.
So editorial use depends on the kind of use you put in, not on the type of application you use the asset for.
