Dear Adobe-Stock-team,
I would like to use pictures from your platform in a scientific paper, for a presentation at my university. I am not sure whether I am allowed to use the images in my academic/scientific presentation. Could you please confirm if it is allowed to use these images (normal but also AI images) in my presentation?
There are people in the pictures.
Do I not need the permission of the people depicted?
Are there any special rules because there are recognizable people and babies in the picture? (there are mainly babies).
Where can I find the license type of the images? I have to specify the license type in the source list of my work (such as: CC0, CC by license or CC etc...).
I don't really understand it, because I found the same image on Freepik, for example, and there it is free. But here it costs 20 euros.
Sorry, but my university takes these things very seriously and I don't want to make a mistake.
Thank you very much for your support!

Adobe license terms do not preclude you from using a stock asset in your presentation. It's up to you to determine whether your university allows it and to follow their guidelines for attribution. If the image includes people, the creator will have had to submit a model release to Adobe proving that the people in the image approved the use of their image.
Here are the guidelines for the Standard License which applies for your application,:
With a Standard license, you may:

Sure, as soon as you have licensed the assets, you can use them according to the licensing terms. The presentation is covered in all cases, a scientific paper is covered by a standard licence as long as you have a print run of less than 500k.

No, the contributor needs to submit a model release for all recognizable people. So all persons are cleared for commercial use. You are covered.

The licence terms can be checked here: https://stock.adobe.com/license-terms. You will probably use a standard licence. You are most likely required to credit the asset as described for editorial images.

You can license where you want. Contributors can submit assets to many stock companies. Check the licensing terms. If you license at Freepik, you need to check the terms and conditions at Freepik.

They may have a subscription where you can license assets for the University's use. Check with a responsible.
