Cannot edit multiple purchased Adobe Stock Infographics

Explorer ,
Jan 10, 2019 Jan 10, 2019

I have purchased infographics from Adobe Stock that I cannot edit the graphs/pie charts % for.  There is no other reason to purchase Adobe Stock Infographic .ai files except to get the design created and be able to edit the percentages to the ones needed (because nobody uses the exact % of each item as they are displayed).  I have searched till I cannot try any other suggestions anymore.  I have tried ungrouping, clipping mask-release, and they are not locked.  I don't have alot of experience in Illustrator so I'm hoping it is just something I am not seeing.  I am using Adobe Illustrator 2019 on Windows 10. here is a screenshot.  pie ai.JPG

Have a look How to edit an Adobe Stock image? , there may be a response here which might help you out.

No it's not.

The files in question are vector files.

But since the graphs are so complex there is no simple way to edit them. Editing them would mean to basically rebuild the artwork.

Can you please tell us the number of that artwork, so someone might take a look at the original file?

i could keep going on the files with charts in them that I have bought that won't work...

I've spent an hour on the phone with Adobe Stock support.  It was determined that it's not an editable file.  So it's not something I'm doing wrong.  NONE of the infographic files that I have purchased/licensed are editable graphs.  VERY IRRITATED!  Why in the heck would anyone download a huge set of infographics that they cannot edit to customize to the percentages they need in graphs????????  So I can only used these designs if my pie chart is that combination of values?  INSANE that ADOBE does not check files that are put online or make the owners accountable when discovered.  No way to contact the creator per the Adobe support person.

They will indeed be getting very hard to edit.

I will contact staff and see what can be done about this issue.
