I got an email saying that my prepaid Adobe Stock credits are expiring soon, so I want to use them. However, I also have a subscription, and when I try to purchase a photo it always uses the subscription credits instead of the prepaid ones. How can I use the prepaid credits while I have subscription credits available?

The system does not allow you to choose which credits to use first, but it will always try to use the lower value credits. In this case, subscription credits are of a lower value, so when taking a standard licence the system will use them first, sparing your credits for an eventual extended licence buy. But that is probably not what you want to do now.
I would contact Adobe support on this. Adobe customer care can be contacted by beginning a secure chat session at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Important: Adobe does NOT contact you unsolicited by e-mail or direct message. If in doubt, ask the forum.
