Right now I'm fairly confused about the licensing terms but here's what I'm trying to do. I want to make an indie game (that I will sell commercially), and want to mix and match different Adobe Stock henna designs to create a tattoo for the protagonist's arm. What license would I need to do this? Would a Standard license work? If so, does the "viewing restriction" apply to games? Or do I need extended licenses?
Thank you in advance!
Thanks for reaching out to the Adobe Stock community.
Any Adobe Stock asset which you intend to use for reselling purpose or for merchandise requires an Extended license.
As per the requirement, you have stated above, you are going to combine several henna designs (from Adobe Stock) to create a tattoo. Is that correct? For such use, you may use a standard license since you are combining several images together and modifying them to create a single tattoo. However, a standard license has a limit of 500,000 copies or views of the asset.
Also, please refer to Stock Licensing & terms FAQ: Where can I find the terms and licensing information for Adobe Stock? for more details on the licensing terms and restrictions of Adobe Stock.
Feel free to update this thread in case of any additional questions.
OK! Thank you for clearing things up.
