I had bought a Lightroom and Photoshop membership and now to my surprise I'm chrged 35 euros on top per month for a full year (I have to pay over 180 euros to cancel) for Stick which I never wanted and never used.
After a simple online search and on this forum this seems to be happening to lots of people over the year. I have no idea for what reason I was charged (I remember specificlally having said no to the Adobe Stock free trial). And I will do everything to file a complaint. But it's clear from the numerous complaints in the forum and online that Adobe is using Ux dark patterns to lock in people to unwanted subsriptions for unreasonable amounts and lenght of time. This is shameful for such a big company. Ideas for Adobe:
- Make it cleared what people are buying or being locked into (not small asterisks at the bottom of the page)
- Send a reminder before th end of a trial if there is one
- Allow people to cancel monthly
- Be more flexible with your cancellations policies
- Do not use Dark UX Patterns to lock people in (fromn all the complaints going on for years noew you are clearly aware this is going on).

You checked out the 30-days-free trial of stock when you signed up for the plan. But you didn't think about the fact that you might have to revoke that free trial if, at the end of the trial, you would rather not subscribe to an annual stock subscription.
(you will need to look at the e-mail that Adobe did sent to you at the moment of subscribing).

You can't say no, it's not a yes or no question, but ticking that checkbox gives you the subscription.

Numerous people don't read what they sign up. This is not an evaluation, but only an observation. To conclude from all these people to the total population is wrong. Those who have read what they are committing to and/or cancelled in time, or those who have consciously chosen the subscription, will probably not write here to say, how great it is.

Spreading conspiracy theories might not be the best way to solve this problem. In the future, I would recommend that you read the terms and conditions before you commit your hard-earned money.
As it appears that you have not utilized your stock subscription, I would recommend that you contact Adobe customer care.
