Edit text in vector images?

Hi, how do i edit the text in a vector image?

I want to download pre-made labels as EPS files. Could i change the sample text whilst keeping the same font?

Could i do it in CorelDRAW X7?

You must have licensed the font to use it.

Hi there Marianne-Dieters, please may l see an example of a vector image with a font that l can install, so that l can see if l can replace the sample text with any text that l want, whilst keeping the font?

Sometimes the sample text is distorted, will the distortion remain if l change the sample text?

Will my software, in this case CorelDRAW, recognise that this is editable text, or will it be treated as an image (as it currently is doing for all vectors illustrations l have downloaded)?

Maybe I don't understand your question correctly. I have no example for you. I don't know what fonts you have. Just take a similar font. I also don't know anything about Corel, I just use Illustator. I'm sorry if I can't help you, maybe someone else has an idea.
