Dear Adobe Complaints Team,
I am writing to complain about the debiting from my account of monthly over a 3 month period.
When attempting to purchase Lightroom on 28.10.19, I was offered the option of a free trial for Adobe Stock. At no point was the cost, or onerous contractual terms that effectively prevented the cancellation of this subscription with significant losses by myself. In light of the subscription models commonly used in the market today, this agreement is so unusual that greater steps should have been taken to inform any buyer of these frankly unfair terms.
I was automatically billed following the conclusion of the trial period. I was unable to cancel the subscription because the excessive charges demanded by Adobe. It is only with hindsight, knowing exactly what to look for, that I was able to find the information that would have initially been required to make an informed decision on whether to enter into this agreement.
I would therefore ask for a refund of £71 for the 3 months. I have not used any of the services provided by Adobe under this subscription, and therefore this refund would not result in any loss to Adobe.
I await your response on this matter.
