This is working as designed. preview jpegs for download is not available. You can download vector assets as jpeg files only after licensing. In Vector setttings, you can see text mentioned as "Licensed file type"

/”Vector and JPEG files included with both licenses” for download.

Hi@vadjok88 ,

Sorry for the trouble. Just follow my instructions:

  1. On stock.adobe.com Select the asset you want to download.
  2. You will see a small gear "Settings" at the right of the asset preview.

  3. Click that and on the following dialogue select your preferred option.

  4. Push save.

You should be done now. Please note that JPEG files do not hold transparency information so any asset where transparency is essential like fireworks-isolated-on-dark-transparent-background do not work as a JPEG file.

Hello, I am having trouble downloading preview jpegs.  I have clicked on the always download jpegs but the preview downloads are still coming down as .ai files.  How do I fix this?  I am having to licence files to preview 😞

I can confirm this, and I suspect this to be a bug. @WendellaBee may have more insight on this. Meanwhile, I suggest you use the right button on the stock website to download a JPEG preview.

@Vani_100,

This made sense before the possibility was offered to license vector files as rendered JPEG files. Especially as the preview files are JPEG files, disguised as Adobe Illustrator files, and as such have in Illustrator only limited value.

@eenergib,

As a @Vani_100's statement is obvious, and as it's a feature, not a bug, you need to download previews as indicated in my message https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/how-do-i-change-file-format-download-from-ai-to-jpeg/m-p/122139....
