I signed up for Adobe Stock and now want to cancel it but keep my Adobe CC membership. In using your website, it's clear you're doing everything possible to thwart people making this request. I go around and around on the contact menus, and Adobe has artfully 'bundled' together cancellation of Stock and CC to discourage disconnection. I'm now appealing to the forum to find the way to cancel STOCK without cancelling CC. Please advise.

Hey EvilBugQueen,
My ADOBE Account Interface clearly shows that I've been signed up for ADOBE Stock for the price of $990/year.
I am not trying to cancel a 1 time image purchase. I'm trying to cancel the Stock subscription that I do not want.
When I click on "Update payment details" I get to see page where I"m signed up for ADOBE stock and there's an unpaid invoice for $990. An invoice for a service I do not want and apparently can't cancel.
Hi Michael,
That is the Adobe ID I checked and I only show that you have purchased a single image on demand. This one time purchase cannot be canceled. It is not a renewable subscription so you won't be charged monthly for it.

I'm having the same issue with support - only I didn't even realize that I signed up for Adobe Stock. I may have erroneously done this when I thought I was only purchasing one photo. Now they are telling me that I can't cancel the $30/month service without paying a $140 cancellation fee.
I've been talking to support all morning (over an hour), and they simply will not agree to cancel the service without a fee. I'm going to dispute this with my credit card company. The best they offer is two months free of a service I didn't even want.
This is incredibly deceptive, and they are losing a decades-old customer here. Thinking about canceling my entire Adobe Photoshop membership and going to Affinity Designer instead.
UPDATE 2017-02-04 : Adobe finally agreed to cancel my account without a termination fee after almost two hours on Chat and after I repeatedly threatened to file a dispute with my credit card company. If you are in this same situation, be aware that you do have options and they can't force you to pay for something that you signed up for erroneously. I'm glad that Adobe was able to resolve this, but it's unfortunate that they make it so difficult.

Hi Beverley, I would like to cancel my Stock subscription too (no other services activated on this account right now), my problem is that I can't contact the support team, the only way is the forum (there is a warning message about some ongoing issues so I guess this might not be the right time to ask for a cancelation...). Should I open another topic on the forum ? I hope to hear from you (or anyone else) soon !

Hi 4ab11533467
I can see a standalone Stock subscription under the Adobe ID used to post on the forum and will cancel that for you. Is your CC membership under a different ID perhaps?
Thanks
Bev

If it's now an option, would you be able to cancel my stock subscription as well?
Thank you!

Hi Nikki
Your plan has been changed successfully. You will receive a refund of $14.51 for the unused days on the previous plan and a charge of $19.99 for the new plan.
Please sign out of the CC desktop app and back in again to activate the new plan.
Kind regards
Bev

I'd like my stock subscription cancelled as well. I wasn't aware that the license can't be used within books. If there was an option for an extended license I'd be interested, but for now I'd like my subscription cancelled please.

Hi Beverley,
No, I just use the Adobe accounts for the iPad apps and occassionally will try out one of the desktop apps. I just wanted to make sure my account was intact.
Thank you.

Sounds familiar! I have used adobe products for years now as a graphics and web designer and have always really respected the company, but when I signed up for the 10 free images on Adobe stock, I had no idea that if I missed the cancellation deadline I would be locked into a year-long contract unless I wanted to pay a ridiculously high cancellation fee. It just isn't right! I have called, and no one will let me drop the "contract" that I apparently agreed to (I thought it would just put me on the monthly plan, which I could cancel at any time like most of the other stock sites I have used). Does anyone know a way around this? I have lost such respect for this company after feeling like I was tricked into paying them $40/mo for an entire year!
Any insight would be much appreciated....

Bev, I'm desperately trying to work with a chat person now to do the same thing you mentioned (cancel Stock, which I had attempted to cancel long before my trial was over, and just now -4 months later- have discovered didn't effectively cancel). I'm seeking a cancelation of Stock while maintaining my CC contract and reimbursement for the 4 months that I didn't use Stock whatsoever.

Hi Beverly
I too would like to cancel my Stock subscription please. I have used 4 images so far from the 'free 10 images' and can't afford the continued monthly cost of £19.99. I have spoken to customer support but they could not cancel it for me.
I am happy to pay the £5.99 per image for the 4 images used so far.
I would really appreciate you help with.
Thanks
Damian
