I have an etsy shop where I create social media posts for different businesses. So far, I've used images from others places because the terms aren't super clear but would like to use some adobe images for future projects. Here are the details of the items I create.
The images would be used primarily as backgrounds with a colored transparent overlay or
The images may be pieced together from multiple photos to create a background or
Specific icons or single images may be placed on the product like a border or within the social media post.
I sell 100 of each package of 10-50 social media posts.
My question is, do I need an extended license for each image or would standard apply?

Hi Nichole,
Thanks for reaching out to the Adobe Stock community.
Any Adobe Stock asset featured for merchandise or for reselling purpose requires an Extended license. As per the requirement you have stated above you will require an extended license. However, if you are only planning to merge several/multiple images together and planning to modify them, you may use a standard license(but it allows a print run up to 500,000 copies or views of the asset). If using specific icons or single images or a single Adobe Stock image as a background, an extended license is required.
Note: We require a photo credit to be added when using the image in an editorial article or for social media.
For more information please refer to Common Questions, Adobe Stock
If the images are modified, the credit line becomes optional. The image is considered modified when the final modified version of the image shows no resemblance to the original image.
Please go through the licensing terms and restrictions of Adobe Stock here: Stock Licensing & terms FAQ: Where can I find the terms and licensing information for Adobe Stock?
Feel free to update this thread in case of any additional questions.
