We have an enterprise account for Creative Cloud (E4+?).
We have access to a lot of standard assets with this account in Adobe Stock. I have a specific question that nobody has been able to answer for me.
With my Adobe Company CC Profile
I can download image assets with an extended license. We love that. That covers a lot of use for us.
When I go to "most" video files
We do not have the ability to download videos. We have to pay to purchase these assets. (also, we would only need enhanced licenses for these assets).
When I switch to the “personal profile”
The same video is available for download with an enhanced license
My question is… while I can download this file without any barrier and did not have to do anything different to my account. Are we legally able to use this asset for our company projects?
I believe the enhanced license would allow for, if this asset was “licensed to me personally” that enhanced allows that to be combined in a project and the license is automatically transferred to a single company. (For example: If I do freelance for a company and I download an Adobe Stock asset and include it in a creative work, the company I’m freelancing for has the rights to use that asset in the context of the creative work I did.)
So while I can download this image with my personal profile, I want to make sure we are using it correctly within the context of the license!!

Bigger companies have Enterprise Subscriptions. Bigger companies also have a legal department. You will need to discuss this which that department. At the end of the day, we are all only laymen, and we interpret law in a layman's way.
I do not know what it takes to include video in your subscription, or how thi works internally for you. You should discuss this with your account manager, not here on this user to user plattform.

I appreciate your response and I get it. Yes it's a user platform but it also seems to be the only place you can get helpful answers to common problems and I know questions are often answered by Adobe staff.
I came here because my Adobe rep was unable to help me, I was referred to my authorized reseller who is our admin. They have been unable to understand the nature of the question.
So I came here for someone who may have a better understanding of what the "personal profile" means and how it can be used.

Sure, but you are having here legal questions that we (users) are not able to answer and that staff is not allowed to answer.
And I may understand why the reseller is not able to understand the question.
In short: the personal profile belongs to you personally, the company profile belongs to the company. It's a bit complicated, but generally speaking, you could have personal subscriptions under your personal account, while the subscriptions (and the data) in your company account are controlled by the company. I always kept my accounts separate, but your company could hire me as a freelancer, and assign me company owned and paid for licences to do the job, and when the job is done, they will also take over the data of my creations, while my personal account with my personal subscriptions will still be owned by me.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
