How did you cancel your subscription? What steps did you take? Adobe will send a cancellation confirmation email to you when you successfully cancel. Did you receive this email?

I cancelled by changing the settings in my plan before the end of the 1 month trial period.

Do you mean you made a change to your payment method or did you actually click Cancel in Account management?

Then your subscription was probably extended for another year and you won't be able to cancel it. Adobe won't help much with it.

It's showing as cancelled, even though the money has been taken.
So it looks like Adobe ceases the service, even though it's been paid for another month.

Better double check with the support using chat. I wouldn't believe anything before they confirm that the subscription has been cancelled for sure and you will not need to pay for another year.
Their customer service is terrible so better to clarify as soon as possible to avoid being stuck another year as i Was.
