Stock Search - Sort by - Popularity vs Downloads

What's the difference between Popularity and Downloads in the sort option?  I would think Downloads will show the most downloaded photos.  But then how is Popularity determined.  Feels like I'm missing something very basic. Thanks!

Hi Marina,

You are correct about downloads- it means the most number of images downloaded, on the other hand, Popularity is the most number of images searched/popular searches by people In Adobe Stock website.
