Check your licensing agreement. It is all written there.

There are three types of licenses:

  1. Standard has a viewing restriction.
  2. Enhanced does not have that restriction.
  3. extended does not have that restriction and can be used for merchandising.

My limited knowledge on this is the following:

If you have a Pro license, I think that you license under an enhanced license instead of a standard license. A Pro license is bound to having an active account for using the asset in modified projects, but terminated projects can be used as intended.

If you do not understand the licensing agreement, check with your legal department. They should be able to guide you.

Look here for more information on licensing: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/links-for-licensing-terms/td-p/11366788
(Disclaimer: As always with licensing, this is my interpretation of the rules. I think they are correct and advice is based on reading and interpreting the license terms and on fair use for both the buyer and the artist/stock company, but I cannot rule out that my interpretation is wrong. I'm not an Adobe employee).
