Hello,
I would like to know more about using vendor photos from Abobe Stock on YouTube. Is one free to use the standard license for photos in a YouTube video if they are used in the background or slightly modified? Since YouTube is a free application the photos are not being sold so this should be ok, correct?

It's not important that Youtube is free (it isn't indeed as you pay either a subscription or you are nerved with adverts). Important is that if you consider Youtube as a "broadcaster", which some do, the number of views should be less than 500k. If you consider it as a website, which it is also, you are free to use the asset with no limitation of viewers.
