Wondering whether if there are license problem if I bought a stock video about buildings

I am working on a TV commerial which may need a branch of stock video about New York and Hong Kong, and many of them are buildings or artifacts, will this act causes license or copyright problem? As these building appearing in the commerial, I am wondering these building are privately owned by somebody, and they may have the right rejecting their property appearing in any commerial.....
