Can I purchase photographs from Adobe to use in my book and if so what type of license is it?

Yes you can! A standard license will do if the run is less then 500k.

However, there are still limitations, so read carefully the license terms.

I enumerate here the most important ones:
- the image should not be the main reason to buy the book (as with a poster).
- you may need to credit the author and source
- you may not use the picture for political messages if you imply that the persons pictured endorse your cause
- you may not use the picture in a p0rn0graphic book. As er0tic and p0rn0graphic l
