I'm a compositor and have a demand by many clients for themed backgrounds that they (other artists) can then use in their own creations. I usually put together three or more separate assets purchased from Adobe Stock, into one composited background for my own work. I am assuming that even with an extended license purchase I would not be able to sell that new composited background to other artists - as it is a digital file comprised of iterations of the three original assets I purchased?
To give an example: I purchase an extended license of a stock image of a grassy hill, mountain range and sky stock. I put them together, color grade them and add some lighting effects, fire, sparks, etc. I then would like to sell that one flattened background to another artist so they can use the background in their work.
Thank you in advance for any information or clarification!
David,
Since you are licensing the images under Extended license and modifying the files (combining three files into one image and altering the color with effects), it is absolutely fine if you want to sell it.

Hi David,
Thanks for reaching out the Adobe Stock community.
As per the requirement you have stated above- an extended license seems fine provided you follow all the terms and restrictions of Adobe Stock. For more information, please see Stock Licensing & terms FAQ: Where can I find the terms and licensing information for Adobe Stock?
Hope this information helps!
Feel free to update this thread in case of any additional questions.

Thank you for the reply - but I'm unsure of how to proceed. The specific line in the restrictions, "not share or distribute the asset in any way that would let others use the asset without licensing it themselves." is where I am stuck.
I am not selling the one specific image as a digital file, I would be selling three files that have been combined together into a new image - altered in color and with effects. Does this new file or creation fall within the confines of that line above?
