Hi,
I have been reading the legal info for Adobe Stock and I have a question about the restrictions in section 3.1(b) of the terms to the standard license: if the Work is modified to the point of being an "original work of authorship" so that it can be distributed in merchandise [as described in section 3.1(b)(2)], does this obviate the distribution limit of 500,000 specified in section 3.1(b)(1)? Further, if the product is a digitally distributed videogame for computers (Windows, Apple, etc.), does this qualify as a product to which the limit does not apply (such as "mobile app")?
Thanks for your help.
Winslow
Hi there,
As per the license terms mentioned here: License information and Terms of use | Adobe Stock I believe your work will require an extended license since you'll be using the asset in merchandise/resale i.e. video games in your case.
