I just took this photo this morning of a flower in my front yard. I am not really sure what is wrong with it. I shot in RAW with 80d 24mm lens.
Would like to understand what I need to do to improve photos.

Hello,
Well... 1st thing I notice is a lack of contrast and vibrance, so you should increase this. Also, a very slight adjustment in white balance - make it a bit warmer. It's a bit hard to see other issues, as this resolution is too small to make an accurate analysis. Eg. if there are noise issues etc. You can make these adjustments in Lightroom, ACR or similar photo editing programme.
