In photoshop I resized an image about 5 megabytes and failed to submit for approval I resized to other sizes and still failed to upload.  I have had tech support try to help and failed.  Plus I have talked to about 15 people over three days.  Can anybody make a suggestion to solve the problem Photoshop 2020

Please tell us why and how you resized. Tell us the current size in pixels. Please tell us more about the problem. Give error messages in detail. Especially explain “submit for approval” - to where? Tell us everything you tried already, we don’t want to waste your time by asking you to do the same thing again.

I Open Photoshop and and go to image -resize image to width 1200 Pixels x 1532 pixels to equal 5.26 M.  open Adobe contributor site to download image and drag image to your site. At that point it tells me it failed because of resolution and size.  I had 15 people on your site that the same thing happened and was in control of my personal computer.  I would like to resolve this issue because it happened before.  Need your help

Are you saying you're trying to submit an image to Adobe Stock as a contributor?

1200X1532 is really small. Are you saving as a jpg? I don't know how you can get a 5mb image from an image at that resolution. That is the saved image size, not the opened image size that shows in Photoshop? I just tried saving a jpg about that same pixel dimension at the full quality of 12 an only got an image that was a little over 1mb.

Moving post to Adobe Stock forum, from the Photoshop forum.

Minimum size for Adobe stock pictures is 4MP (mega pixels). Your picture has a little bit more as 1MP. That's definitely not enough.  Also resizing in Photoshop will not make it. The quality check after submission will refuse it (probably).

In addition: your picture is not in focus an it is probably oversaturated, all reasons to refuse it. The saturation can be addressed, but the out of focus is unforgiving, especially as your picture is at a small size.

You may also look up the contributor documentation for more information about quality and refusals. https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/user-guide.html?topic=/stock/contributor/morehelp/review.u...

Don't resize your images for Adobe Stock.

From Adobe:

Technical requirements

  • Submit images in JPEG format.
  • Use color space sRGB
  • Minimum image resolution: 4 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum image resolution: 100 MP (megapixels)
  • Maximum file size: 45 MB (megabytes)
  • No watermarks or timestamps
  • Do not upsample your files; submit the maximum file size that your camera can produce.

So, don't upsample your pictures!
