I've downloaded item332362132  it's supposed to be an ai file. It opens in illustrator but it looks like someone has saved a screenshot of a transparent background - it wasn't created in illustrator so it's not possible to select the individual elements without the checkered background appearing- does anyone know how you return or report a faulty file?

That's not what I have - there are no paths, just layers with the images and background merged together

Did you select vector or jpeg when you downloaded the file? See this thread for more info: https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock/changing-default-download-to-jpeg-ai/td-p/11334222?page=1
