I have three Adobe stock images that were downloaded more than ten years ago for use in my PhD research. The images are of dogs (German shepherd, Bull mastiff, Dalmatian). I modified each of the images so that they looked similar (e.g., removed backgrounds and replaced with plain white, reorientated/reversed image, altered colour to black/white). I've attached the modified images below. I no longer have the original images with the artists' information and cannot locate these online. I would like to use the images for publication in a scientific journal. Can I do this, and if so, in the absence of the artists' information, is it sufficient to credit Adobe Stock alone? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Michele.
