Ambient Occlusion(RTAO) not giving any output

I am attempting to generate an ambient occlusion map from a height map using the RTAO node. However, the output in the 2D view appears completely white, with no grayscale details. In contrast, the HBAO node produces the AO map correctly. The tessellation factor is set to 40, and the height map scale is set to 5.

 

I am using Designer 13.1.1 on Windows 11, running on a system equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 7700XT GPU.

Hello @Sautik,

 

After checking your file with the same Designer's version, I had no issue with the RTAO node and the output appears clean without editing anything. Make sure to use the GPU engine when working with this node (F9 > Direct 3D) and try increasing the Height Scale value.

Hello @Cyril Dellenbach,
I am using the GPU Engine as you suggested. It is using Direct3D 11 version 9.0.3.
I also increased the height scale to 40 but the output is still completely white in the RTAO node. 
Even the changes in sub-graph are not updating in the main graph.
