Hi all, i'm new to substance however have made many textures in the past through mroe trditional means, I was hoping to make this parametrically although i'm not sure where to start! any suggestions please as i need to make a large version of this to span a mesh and right now I don't have enough to work with. I've tried going down the route of Midjounrey however it starts to get lost in form. thankyou all

my 3d brain can't think of another way to solve this so i've started to manually draw splines in 3d and convert to mesh, then grab the boundry spline and lift. I'll be able to render a normal map from this. Doesn't feel like the best way but only way i know how!

Not exactly the same, but you might be able to adapt this:

Hi @Adam30926602a1jp,

Not exactly the same either, but I was going to suggest you something like this

The spline is a bit overkill, but you got the idea.

That's kind of the nice thing with Substance 3D Designer, there are many ways to achieve a specific result. Don't hesitate to tell us how you did it in the end!

Best regards,
