I'm trying to get Substance 3D Automation ToolKit with no luck.
I already understood that it used to sit under Developer Console -> Packages -> Tools according to this discussion, after digging all over the place, I've deduced that there's no 'Packages' option.
Trying to use pysbs according to the beginner guide also yielded no results.
I tried to install pysbs according to the guide, and by using homebrew and got a whl file that after installing it provided only info folder, with no data folder.
In addition, any attempt to change the <version> in the whl path according to the versions in the release notes has failed.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello Dan,
Just to be clear, the Automation Toolkit is only available for entreprise and the package needs to be downloaded by the admin in the admin console. It is in the section “Packages” -> “Tools”

Okay, that wasn't clear to me at all.
My current plan is Substance 3D Collection, so that might be the reason why I couldn't find this option.
Can you please elaborate on the Python automation tools?
As I understand, the pysbs library wraps the Substance API and basically provides the same automation tools. Is that correct?
If it is, is it also only available for enterprise accounts?
I believe that the answer is no since I could find pysbs library version 1.0.0 on PyPi repository at - https://pypi.org/project/pysbs/.
Thanks a lot for the help!

Hello @NativLevy,
Thanks for your patience.
All users have access to the Designer API to create plugins, but the Substance Automation Toolkit is a different API to build headless scripts.
SAT and Pysbs is only available for entreprise, and unfortunately, a Substance 3D Collection license doesn't give access to the SAT.

Hi Cyril,
I'd like to have some updates on this argument. I've acess to the enterprise version of creative cloud but i can't find the SAT package. I'd like to know if it has changed name or if it has become deprecated. Attached to this post you can find a screenshot of the packages that i've avilable in my admin console.
Best regards,

Hi @davescm ,
Thanks for the fast answer.
Now i'm a aware of this difference but i don't get how to install the SAT package. I don't get if i should acquire the Substance 3D license for enterprise and the downloadable .zip should appear in the Adobe admin console or if there is a specific admin console for Substance 3D for enterprise.
I sincerely apologise for encroaching on your time but i can't find any clear documentation or support on this topic.
Thanks in advance,
MC
