Hello so at work we use send out substance materials from Designer to Painter and i just updated to the new version. Though this time Designer does not remember the previous folder paths, so i need to paste it in every single time i do updates. This is very annoying since it kind of defeats the purpose to share materials within the studio from different people. Also you cant paste in the folder paths into the text field like in the old version. Please fix this in so that it works as before.

Hello,

We are aware of this issue and agree it is frustrating. We have fixed the initialisation of the File path field in the publishing dialog so it remembers the last path a package was published to over the course of a same session.

If the package was never published during a session, the field is initialised to the path of the package.

We have also added a progress dialog which appears if the duration of the publishing process exceeds 4 seconds.

This fix will be available on the next bugfix release of Substance 3D Designer – i.e. version 11.2.1. I appreciate your patience!

Regarding pasting a copied path, on Windows you can do this in the file name input field of the file browser prompt which opens when clicking the From file... button.

Best regards.
